well we are back from our holidays and I couldnt wait to get down to the plot , although I must admit I was scared at what I might find.... After all Sue & Martyn have warned me about sheds ending up down the bottom of the plots due to strong winds and my hubby's d i y isnt all that great :-) But yipee the shed is still standing however the grass and weeds have had a party whilst we have been away.
so this thursday we finally got away from the pub we run and had a great afternoon down at the plot with the kids. the weeds have gone now and lester has dug in the manure on most of the beds. we still need to cut the grass but need a petrol strimmer or lawnmower , tidy the beds up round the edges and then we just need to decide on what we want to grow and order the plants oh and the shed needs painting ... but we know it will be worth all the hard work we put in next year when we are sat eating our own home grown stuff .
